How safe is the area around Bodhinath these days? I have not lived in Nepal since 1989, so please catch me up on the situation there. Any reasonable rentals in that area? Thanks

Hello there, I'm assuming you meant to say boudhanath. I would say its about as safe as it gets. Is the area close to the stupa? You see some shady looking youngsters every now and then but they won't bother you unless you bother them.
