Hi

I am looking at making the move to Nepal, Kathmandu and want some advice on salary, i have an offer of 1900 USD a month ( Accommodation included) and was wondering what type of life this will buy me as an expat, wanting to take occasional holidays and eating out regularly. Any advice is greatly appreciated, it will be my first time.

$1900 is a big salary here. Ask about the hours and schedule . Many job have long hours and work six days a week. That could pay for a very nice life style. Easily. Pm me if you want. I moved here in 2010 from Oregon

I spend fairly on the high side with a nominal amount for rent. Very doable. I'm not even spending all my social security, let alone other sources.
