Hi

Did any one know about process of refugee request in UNHCR nepal ?
How a refugee can live in nepal until transfer to third country by UNHCR ?

How can live without visa in nepal ?

The friends I have in Nepal who are Samali refugees all went directly to the UNHCR office to get registered and received a UNHCR id card. This does not mean it is free. They are charged the daily fee of $5 for staying in Nepal with no visa. This government fee is difficult for them to pay so many have been trapped in Nepal not able to exit even when they have approval for the next country.
