The Kiwis seemed very friendly and hospitable to me. What has been your experience? How long have you been there? As I am still looking, any information on teaching positions? I''ve elementary and secondary credentials and a graduate degree. I teach, in addition to elementary, French, Spanish, English and history. " NZ is a wonderful place, but I''m biased as I come from there! I know that there''s currently a shortage of teaching positions in NZ, mainly in the North Island and the more rural areas. In the last couple of years there''s been disputes between the primary schools union and the government, asking for pay parity with secondary school teachers. Also, although schools are crying out for teachers, a lot of schools have problems with funding them. But once you do find a job, you''ll be fine! I can''t help much with Visa and working requirements, since I haven''t had to go through that process there, but people will be more than happy to discuss with you what you need.
