I'm an American journalist both in print and television that hopes to venture to Oslo this summer. Looking forward to visiting a close friend as well as seeking some work. Some of my projects will be thru American companies/publications either in Norway or other parts of Europe. At the same time, I'd like to search for other work in Norway to help supplement. Can I continue to work in Norway after 3 months if my employers are not Norwegian? What about those who spend a year or 2 in foreign countries writing novels without official paperwork? I'm told that many countries have ambiguous guidelines pertaining to journalists.
