I'm an American journalist, both television and print, hoping to move to Oslo to visit a friend this summer. Some of my work will be thru American companies/publications and may take place in Norway, but more likely in other parts of Europe. At the same time, I'd love to supplement these projects by seeking freelance work as well thru Norwegian entities. Can I stay in the country longer than 3 months without a visa if my work isnt thru Norwegian companies. Does anyone know legalities involving freelance work? What about those who move to another country for an extended period of time to write a novel?
