Ok I am married to a Norwegian, who is a born and raised citizen and I am planning on moving mid November of this year to Kongsvinger to be with him, where he now resides. What I really need some advice on at the moment is either stores or online sites that I can replace all my small appliances such as....6 liter crock pot, and the rest are all "Oster" brand such as my oster fusion (blender/food processor all in one), Deep fryer (2.5 liter capacity), Hand mixer, portable hand blender, electric griddle, electric knife and an electric mini chopper (2 cup mini food processor), hair dryer, curling iron and a quesodilla maker (a hot press type thing that cooks flour tortillas filled with different food items). I mean I could probably get some kind of adapter for many but it could get rather expensive and bothersome to do so. So please if someone can guide me to the right places, i would be ever so thankful...Thanks, Terry

Hello Tazz

Well.. if your only problem is the electrical connector then and adaptor would do fine. If the cable will detach from the appliance end then simply buy a new cable - about 50 Kr.

An appliance store called Elkjop is where I have seen most of the electrical appliances and they seem to be Norway-wide. You will probabaly find them on the Internet before you arrive.
