Hon I can't speak for Bergen as I am in Kongsvinger, but ost of my friends chose to place their children into the public school system here rather than to the international schools. Kids pick up quick and tend to blend in faster if they just go to public school. If you were speking more about school for you to learn the language, then I can honestly say that is sucks for we english speaking expats. They seems to concentrate more on teaching arabic speaking immigrants thoroughly. You would learn much more taking an online course for Bokmål norsk and seems the best option is University of North Dakota, suggested by an american friend of mine ;) goodluck

Hello there, I am currently doing some research for a possible documentary about people moving from the UK to Scandinavia. It would be great to have a chat with you about your experiences and also motivations if you are considering this as an option for the future. Feel free to drop me a line on tiannah.viechweg

Hi, wondered if you ever visited the school and what you thought about it. I hear bad things too. Mainly no money, almost bankrupt, poor teaching in Grade school (unqualifieds taking class etc.) and head not very nice person. Appreciate any feedback! Farida
