I know from experience

I moved to Norway almost two years ago .Living here has had it's up and downs but looking back I made the best decision for my future . I grew up in Cape Town and decided to move to Norway at the age of 18.My mother is Norwegian and always motivated me to go abroad .I would just like to clear up the statements that people have made about this country .We are not unfriendly there are unfriendly people but in general the Norwegian people are open ,friendly and genuine .Norway has given me so many opportunities .I have been able to travel all over the world with the salary I earn here .The work opportunities are endless and the government really take care of their people .Being a foreigner is not easy and I have seen people become excluded from the Norwegian society .There are people out there who are interested and open ,just give us a chance .Learning the language is an important part of integrating .I had to too and once I did a whole world opened up . Sometimes it's good to see things in the bigger picture ,Norway to me although the rainy days is my home away from home .I see a bright future .
