I know that Oslo is very expensive. But how expensive is Bergen? How much do I need per month to survive and live an ok life. Thanks!

There's not enough difference in the cost of living between Norwegian towns to make it worthwhile considering. If you can't work out how to get information like this without coming to a forum like this, Norway is best avoided since I would advise about 3 years preparation before coming to Norway. 1. become fluent in Norwegian. Can you speak Norwegian? 2. Find a job before you come. 3. Think ahead. What is the the likelihood you will thrive in Norway? Who will clear the snow from your drive? Are you simply assuming too much? Do you have any skills that are in demand in Norway? If so, you can easily get a job before you come to Norway. Most people don't know enough about Norway and what to research before they come to avoid making disastrous mistakes. You may love Norway. Why should Norway love you?

According to my husband who is Norwegian and has lived in Bergen, it is drastically cheaper to live there than in Oslo. Oslo is one of the most expensive cities to live in, Stavanger being even higher.
