Just wondering about how things are for singles in Oman, esp those in the early 30s age bracket? Thinking of moving there and keen to know if it is totally family oriented or if there is much of a social scene for singles as well? Also, are single women treated OK over there?

Hi there! I am a Kenya who moved to Oman three months ago. In a Kenyan scene, all but a few are married and that appliies across the board. expatriate singles have social networks, kind of quiet life here. Everybody is treated with due respect and the locals respect every visitor irespective of gender. Hope to have you here soon!

No its not totally family oriented >> as a single you can live the same way others are living and be treated the same way and get the same respect
If you have any other specific questions plz send me a message.

As a single wither you are a male or female doesn’t matter, you can have fun and have good time in Oman. The night fun is also there along with the day fun. There are lots of pubs where singles as well as married people hangout Oman has nice sightseeing, specially beach and mountains. So it is fun to be in Oman.
