Hey all, I am an Australian professional who is seriously contemplating a move to Oman with my wife. We are wanting advise from other expats on the best parts of town to live and the rent expected on a relatively new 2-3 be townhouse. any help that you can offer is appreciated. Thanks.

oman is a very beautiful and a peaceful place. rents vary based on the location. most western expats live in the qurum or the PDO area which the rent varies from 600 to 880 omani for apts reyals for apts and 700 and above for villas

Oman is a good place to live. Calm and quite. No traffic Jams like Dubai. Townhouse rent will be Ro 800+ Good areas to live Quorum, Azaiba etc
