Maurer - you are asking a loaded question. as with ANY person you meet, there are many nuances. R U talking about being arranged or getting to know someone 1st? I would say majority of marriages are still arranged, even with Pakistani's outside the country. Best if you know people there to have them look for you and set up meetings with family/woman. But no matter what, as with ANY marriage, you can love your spouse, but many different types in the family can create issues. My suggestion, go there to live for year or two THEN after you have met people, they will probably ask about your openness to marry and even try to arrange for you without your knowing it!
