Live in UK.Am going to Islamabad whilst there want to renew outdated pakistan passport and shanakti card.Where do i do this please or do I need an intermediary.Also are Islamabad hotels cheaper on arrival to book or shall I do from UK (Amunicipal tax of 16% is added? anything else on top.My urdu is of course anglicised

I am not sure whether you have already done it or not. if not when in Pakistan just walk into a NADRA office or kiosk which are in most of the cities now and they would do it quick especially if you choose to go to an Executive Centre. In just a few days you get your ID card renewed.
