More robberies in Coronado

Well sadly I can report on the latest robbery as it occurred at my home during the night inside the gates of Coronado.Very upsetting but I am able to report neither of us were hurt. The scum thieves gained entry to our property by cutting a hole through our chain link fence and obviously cased the house as we found two windows open but we have very secure steel bars on all windows and doors. These scum bags found that we had left a sliding door open for air flow even though it is well secured with steel bar gates so what they did was simply find something to reach inside and drag items to the steel grated door such as phones, my wifes purse with all her cards and I.D. and moneycamera gear etc.
.We were asleep in our bedroom with the door shut as we run the air at night .Therefore luckily they could not gain access into the house. and get to us.
I keep a large hunting knife by the door which I found in our backyard which is the way these thieves left. They even tried on my running shoes ,removed the laces but obviously they were to small for them,These cases are on the rise in a huge way and the police do absolutely nothing. It is not even worth reporting it to them as you only waste your time.
They simply do not care.
So we have fences, lights, and are or so we thought very aware of who is around but obviously not aware enough. They are fearless as they also know if they get caught there will be no charges laid.
My next option is to install an electrified fence including the chain link and if they get through that ....I now have another surprise for them.
We moved here believing we would never be victims of crime and we are not whining ..we are going to fight back and not let these scum force us to review our lifestyle. We like Panama, the weather the beaches and its people but this crime wave is something this government needs to focus in on as it will soon begin to seriously effect peoples thoughts who are considering moving here.
Know all who work on your property well, check out where they are from, know your neighbours, have someone to call in case of emergency and forget the police they are a dead loss.
Take the time to really review your property possibly with a professional security company.Buy a nasty dog who enjoys the odd taste of human flesh when not invited.
Be safe be prepared as it can happen to any of you at any time.
