I am a second generation American/British Pakistani and looking to retire to Pakistan. My efforts to find information online about retiring to Islamabad have been been fruitless.

Has anyone retired to Pakistan, if so can you please provide me with some information around what your experience was like and what I should be thinking about.

Thank you for your time.

I retired to my home town Rawalpindi from New York in 2003 till 2012. In the beginning some times it was boring. But once I had like minded friends, it was great. Just make sure you have plenty of income, and spend your summer in America or Europe every year.
