Somewhere on the internet it says, if your dreaming of moving to Pakistan, spend a summer there, and you'll come running back. In 2014, we did just that. The opposite has happened. We want to move to Pakistan for ever. This is the second time we've got the "Move to Pakistan" fever.
First time in 2009, we moved to Pakistan. We stayed with my wife's parents. I'm rasied in the USA and as a child we used to go every couple of years. To this day, I can't get Pakistan out of my mind. After getting married, I quit my job and lived in Pakistan with my new wife for a year. Best time ever. Just like all Pakistanis, my parents always complain about Pakistan. Yet, they themselves used Pakistan for their education (father is doctor), moved to the US and did well. Yet other than helping family, I can't say they've really ever given anything back to their homeland. They kind of hate Pakistan for whatever reasons. So, when we moved in 2009, my mother also "moved." Actually, she went after us and caused so much problems within the extended family and inlaws, we had to come back after a year. When back in the USA, we changed states just to get away from her.
Since we're older and wiser, I think we will have a better plan this time. I will share for others to use once I've got it together.
