From UK To Lahore - Looking For Job

Hi, I have been interested in moving to Pakistan Lahore for the past 10 years as majority of my family is there and the fact that I just love Lahore and feel at peace there.

I want to move within the next 2 years but have no idea what to do or where to look.

I am currently working as a Corporate Security Supervisor In a Data Centre in the UK and wonder if it is at all possible to have a similar job in Lahore with a Salary exceeding 80k rupees.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this has been my dream and I just need a way to make it a reality but job and salary need to be decent otherwise it will be difficult for my wife and child. I don't really want to spend years and years as i feel the older my children get the more difficult it will be for them.

Hi Naveed,
Its great to know you want to move to Lahore. I have made this move a while back and am still here in Lahore.
Yes similar jobs exist here, especially with the big school chains like BeaconHouse and LGS etc.
80K salary isnt a very big deal these days too. You could even have your own security company supplying security solutions to private individuals/offices.homes and still make a lot more than this. And with your training and background I am sure you could offer better than the local firms and security advisers here.

Could you possibly inform me where I can look for similar jobs within that salary range please? As i am searching but coming across empty.

In regards to starting my own security company, I have a few very good ideas for business in Lahore but at the moment to do not have the required finances available in order to see them through.
