Need House rental Old Canal Zone

I am moving to Panama for two years with husband and 2 year old son. We are looking to rent a house in Clayton, Albrook area. Prefer a 3 bedroom w/ yard in decent order. My husband will being doing research at the Smithsonian. Any rentals available? We'll be moving this summer end of July 2004

We live in the Ciudad del Saber, former Fort Clayton, by the Miraflores Locks, where rentals are available for around $500. Peaceful surroundings, Balboa Academy from nursery through preK, Clayton Day Care Nursery school, sports fields, pool, walking trails-- many NGOs are establishing offices here. I would contact ciudad del Saber and visit this area. Quality of life is the best-- I am listening to a cacophony of afternoon birds and looking at beautiful green forest....Cheers, Ann

To Ann...Cheers!! lol I am also looking for info on schools and best neighborhoods for myself and 16 yr old daughter..we hope for a private day school..."American" Would appreciate any advice.
