We are currently living and working the UK and are considering a permanent move abroad and currently Panama is in the top 3 locations.

However we are finding it hard to find out information as to Visa requirements to live and possibly work in Panama.

The current plan is to sell our house in the UK which will give us approx £100,000 cash and buy two houses; one to live in and one to rent providing an income.

Whilst we don't particularly want to work, we would like to have the option just in case the rental income doesn't transpire.

However, we are not sure if the above would qualify us for a residential visa and whether we would get a work permit.

If there is anyone out there (particularly from the UK) who may have done something similar and could share experiences, it would be greatly appreciated.
