People moving to Panama will often go through sites like Hemingway Hideaway, etc. they should be aware that the Hemingway site, as with several others, is run by people whose sole intent is to separate you from you finances. They never complete the construction, walking off the job when you're broke, contracts not-withstanding, leaving you with a partial house and no funds to complete it. There is a group active here that is trying to get out helpful information to any folks contemplating a move here and this writer will gladly assist with any information requested. I am the latest victim, having a house, no money, little hope, and living in a rental house in a swamp. Interested parties can contact the Lees at Stay@Cielitosur.com for additional information. A list of members of the Pan-American Highlanders is available upon request and any of them may be contacted for honest information as none seek profit.

Hi Woofa -- We're in that category of "moving to Panama and woefully ignorant," I'm afraid. Would you please explain the Pan-American Highlanders and how to obtain the list?
