My wife and I are planning on moving to Panama in the next few months. We own our own business back here in the states and all we really need is a good phone connection and internet to work. My question is: does anyone know if there is mobile broadband internet available in Panama? Life will be much easier if I can have my laptop on the go! We will be in the City and/or up and down the canal zone most of the time. If so, who is the provider and how much a month? Thanks for your responses.

There are a re few differing ones:

1. Claro. Is good most the time, although they have limited coverage and at night time / weekends the network is very slow, but I think its the cheapest option.

2. CW (Mas Movil) Probably the best one, but the most expensive.

3. Movistar, good all round I guess but coverage is a little variable.

4. digicel or digihell, I wouldnt really bother looking at, there data service is terrible from what ?I have heard.
