Many of you have heard about the protest going on in parts of the country right now. It depends on how you feel about things and what is the truth and what is the lie.
The Indians claim is that the government agreed on a set of terms with them before they would allow a mining company to come on their land and mine.
well that got signed and a mining company from canada come in and have spent millions of dollars so far just getting set up plus training of the indians for jobs that they would be paid well to do at the mine.
well know after all this has been done the indians are yelling that a part of that contract has been removed, that part was ar. 5 of it which stated that NO outside country could mine anywhere in panama or run a hydro plant in the country.
now hummm why would canada who runs a hydro plant here as well as are the ones who just poured millions getting this mine ready to work sign that? which would not allow them to start the mine and have them shut down th ehtdro plants? doesn't add up does it?
these things happen here all the time and it to will past and things will move on, it just takes a little time. it's no worse then all the people in the u.s. having there sit ins.
