Everything I read about Panama tells me this is where we will retire. So, our first visit will be in November, 2014. 3 nights in Panama City then a week on a beach. Now comes my question: Will someone please suggest a beach area we can easily access from the City (how and how much) and rent an apartment / condo for 1 week ? Getting very excited.

If you are coming in November, bring an umbrella......heavy rainy season.....and some ear plugs. Schools bands in every community will be practicing for the big November events. You have never heard so much drumming in all your life. That's when most people leave Panama for a holiday. Stay at the Decameron or Playa Blanca for a week at the beach and you won't regret it. In Panama City, stay at the Veneto for luxury, or across the road at the Las Vegas Suites for economy........Both are in El Cangrejo
