Hi, I'm new to the site and wanted to know if there's anyone out there who's taking the upcoming Tour for Boquete. This is taking place on July 5th thru to the 12th.
This will be my first visit to Panama, the tour will provide an up close and down to earth view of what it takes to retire there. I've got at least 4 more years to go, so I've been doing my homework to make a real decision, thus participating in the Tour. It would be nice to meet some of you(s). I've so enjoyed the information found on this sight. For the most part I can decipher the Tourist version from the Real version (smile) I always want the Real version. Well, I've said quite enough so I'll bid everyone a found adieu!

Why don't you just come here for 5 days and enjoy Boquete. It's a really small town. Find out what the agenda is and I will take you around for half the price. Have truck will travel. That way you will have a real guide who lives here.......

Happy Friday!
I so appreciate the replies back from everyone, if anyone's interested in the Tour I'm taking just go to the internet and pull up Relocation/Retirement Tour Panama you'll find all of the information. And yes, it's headed by an expat! The tour I'm taking is called 5-Day Chiriqui Highland Panama, which includes a focus on the Boquete area, including David. www.liverforlesspanama.com is the actual website.
I've never done anything like this before, and I'm very excited to take in everything I can to lay-out my plan towards retirement. This is the first of several trips I intend to take. Jackie Lange is already a resident in Boquete, her daughter Melissa is on her way as well. Both women have been extemely helpful and I'm looking forward to meeting them both face to face.
Well I've taken up enough of everyone's time (for sure) and my boss will be coming out of his office shortly! Although he's as excited as I am about my trip, because HE wants to know about this type of move himself, go figure!

LCTeel Fabulous! I soo look forward to meeting you two as well! I'm SOO EXCITED!!!!! Is this your first trip with Jackie and Melissa? Is this your fist trip to Panama? Look I have soo many questions. I get in on the 5th and had the Lange's make reservations, hopefully we'll meet up there at the hotel. Please stay in touch and keep the correspondence going!

Thanks panamajames, I'd like to take you up on that offer, but maybe next time?? As I'm sure to come back again, I just feel it, smile. However, I would love to here what you have to say. I've been watching (and reading) this site for some time in my research to figure out where I want to be in retirement, so please stay in touch and keep the info coming!

Happy Friday Everyone!
Well I'm exactly one week away from leaving Las Vegas to start my 5-day Tour of Panama. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who responded the last time. And a special shout out to panamajames! I might take you up on that offer. It sure would be nice to meet some of you(s) face to face. I know we're supposed to be meeting up with some expats that live there already I just don't know who? If anyone out here on this site think your one of those folks we're meeting, please let me know.
I'm totally STOKED! to get there and see for myself all of the good, the not so good, the bad and the ugly (although I don't think there's that much bad and ugly). This site is 'priceless' with the amount of information I read about everyday, Heck I'm at work right now HAHAHA typing this post. Why? because I'm too excited to work right now, I'd rather be there!
Well at any rate, guess I should end this now and get back to work! But again, thanks to everyone who contributes to this site and keep it coming!
