10,000 flock to close of Jazz Festival

THE CLOSING concert of the11th edition of the Panama Jazz Festival attracted 10,000 people on Saturday, January 18 at the City of Knowledge.

More than 20 bands were involved in six days of presentations organized by Panama jazz pianist Danilo Perez which attracted 13,500 during the first five days

This year he paid tribute to the 500th anniversary of the sighting of the Pacific Ocean by Balboa which was commemorated nationally in 2013, and to the 100th anniversary of the start of operations of the Canal in August 2014.
