I am planning on moving to Panama March 2016. Any suggestions for rental listings. I know it might be far off, but I would just like to get an idea of rentals available and what areas. Thanks

Encuentra 24.com and Compro o Alquilo are two sites you can check out places and prices. They cover all the country so it will be good to have an idea of area you prefer or if in the City or not.
The sites are sometimes not showing the right price as you might be able to negotiate depending on who is the owner or the realtor. The perception is if you come from US/Canada/Europe you have money. Some Venezuelans have mentioned they have experienced the same.

Panama is a big country so try to narrow your search down to a Province or general area like cool mountains or hot beaches or cities towns or villages.

Google home rentals in Panama. Short or long term depending on your plans. Depending on the site, you may be able to filter down to the area you are interested in. There is no MLS in Panama so you might need to look at MANY sites.

Thanks for your OPINION, but I don't need to come down. I have moved to several states and countries without a pre-visit. What I need is as many rental sites as possible.

Hey there, my wife, baby boy, and I are planning to move to panama for a year right around the same time. Have you already been there for a visit? How is it? Are you retiring there? We are just wanting to take a year off from the rat race of Atlanta and saving money to try to live down there off about 3k or less per month. If you have any advice on the planning of your move I'm all ears. We are in the beginning stages and we are planning to visit Panama in a couple months to check out what town we like, rentals, and overall if we will really like it there. Who knows maybe we will love it so much and move there.
