Grocery shopping in las tablas

After receiving most excellent information on shopping in Chitre, I've re-checked our plans and it's actually las tablas where we depart the bus from PC. Hoping someone has suggestions and directions for where to get groceries in las tablas befor we get taxi to beach rental. Not hard to tell I'm a newbie eh ?

I live in Las Tablas, but go to Chitré to get things that I can't get here. Your best and easiest bet is Super Carnes. My guess is that you are going to Playa Uverito, That is where most B&Bs and rentals are. To avoid town traffic, make a right out of the Las Tablas terminal and another right at the light (you went through it on the way to the terminal) The road is called the Tomba Muerta or Circumnavigation (the main road, Hwy 2 / Bellasario Porris) goes through town and makes a sharp left at the square) The Tomba Muerta connects with Hwy 2 on the other side of town avoiding all the traffic and congestion. The road to Uverito is (on the left) where the Tomba Muerta makes a sharp bend. Continue to where it rejoins Hwy 2 (the new bank will be on your left) Make a right turn. Super Carnes will be on your right next tot the Delta Gas Station, about a block.

You will get your best shopping deals in Chitre if you are shopping for the week at the beach. Take a bus there. Las Tablas is small town Panama and the shopping is also small town............

Don't know what I would do without this site. So, if we walk to the grocery store in Chitre will there be regular bus service from Chitre to Las Tablas ? From the Chitre terminal?
