Trailer hitch dimensions

Does anyone know if the standard trailer hitch receptacle on a car in PTY will accept the 50mm x 50mm fitting of a bike carrier from the US? I will be moving to PTY as a pensionado as soon as word comes that my cedula is ready and I’m trying to determine if I move my bike rack or if I’ll need to buy a metric sized one when I get there. Thanks hd1

I believe they are the same but it might cost you more to get it here than you can buy one for. Plenty of bike racks here.

St,

Thanks for your feedback. This carrier is rather robust (read heavy) so I think I'll leave it in the US.
