Migration in Panama has detained 382 foreigners for crimes during January to September. The Migration crimes include working without permission because they are only tourists or temporary residents. Temporary, permanent or undocumented people are one of the main reasons why these foreigners have been detained, the agency reported.
Other reasons are linked to over stays and expired permits, staying in the country as undocumented and being required by international justice. The list of foreign nationals leading the way with 152 arrests were Colombians, followed by Dominicans, Venezuelans (40), Nicaragua, China, Guatemala and some other countries. No mention of Americans or Canadians.
The SNM warned that they will continue operating in both the city and the countryside.
