Currently the causes of the overturned truck are unknown at a bend in the road to Sona. However, authorities believe that the failure was caused by speeding.

Of the 12 people, 5 died at the scene, one was taken to the hospital, and another was seriously injured. They were all were taken to the Luis Chicho Fabrega hospital.
Donderis said preliminarily information known was that the accident was caused by speeding and it is presumed that the driver was driving while intoxicated.
On the other hand, the head of SINAPROC said that since last October 30, the day that started the operation of the security agencies on the occasion of national holidays, they have registered 172 points covering a total of 60 traffic accidents without fatalities.
It was recalled that a total of 15 thousand 488 agents of public safety remain deployed throughout the country, to preserve security in the remaining days of patriotic celebrations.
