Our transmitter gas been fried by power bumps and it looks like we won't be able to replace it in Panama. The units are readily available at Wal Mart (and other) stores in US and Canada. I know this is a long shot but is anyone coming to Panama who can bring one along ? Please pm me !!!!!

Underground dog fence transmits signal to dogs collar to keep them on property boundaries. We leave in July but thanks anyway.

Where are you? I brought one down last year for Cowboy Dave and he has never used it. May be willing to sell but he is in Boquete.

YOU DON't! It is basically impassable except for a risky overland hike through the jungle. Some bicycles and small motorcycles have done it. I have traveled to the end of the highway in Panama to the last town of Yaviza. Then you must turnaround or take the river boat. When we do the Trekoftheamericas' Expedition with RVs, we ship the RVs from Colon, Panama to Cartagena Columbia, and we fly. If the ferry starts up again, it is much easier. Our next trek is in July, 2017 to Argentina and Brazil.
