Hi everyone
I am a 28yr old South African looking to relocate to Paraguay. I am in a long term relationship with a wonderful young lady from Paraguay and am willing to relocate there while she finishes her studies.
Our relationship is quite serious with long term prospects taking shape nicely and rather than putting her studies on hold, I have decided to put my career of Feature film animation and design on old.
I would like some advice from someone experienced on what type of jobs I could possibly look out for as the animation industry in Paraguay is practically non existent.
Constructive feedback only please :) Kind regards!

hello,
there is a producer in place, working on the animation field.
He made fortune with internet - chena.com - acquired a tv channel and is producing a serie broadcast on channel 13. check out facebook page - www.mansion.com.py . and http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Mansi%C3%B3n_de_los_Pol%C3%ADticos
You might have a look at local university, since there is quite a few courses teaching flash 2D animation. design etc. ( might try a teaching position ).
Will find the country is friendly in terms of getting passport and administrative procedures. Gud luck

I think I probably mean with her local community in Loma Plata, otherwise there are definite huge cultural differences for sure.
All I know right now is that I am DYING to experience a new culture while im still relatively young. I have been in the same place for too long. I am itching to go overseas
