anyone experienced teaching english in paraguay?

Hello,
I am planning on moving to Paraguay from the States. I have an interview for a teaching job at a private school. Anyone experienced teaching English at a private school? I inquired about pay and was told they will discuss that in person.
I was also told by a friend in Paraguay that the teachers are paid by the hour, is this true?

I teach English in Paraguay, which school are you being interviewed by? I have worked in a few schools and they ussually pay a monthly salary, however if you teach at language institutes they ll pay you per hour, dont hesitate to contact me if you need more info.
