Thought I would throw out some numbers for Health insurance for retiree's in Peru.

I always believed you neede to insure before age 60 to get and keep coverage, but I find out now that at least with Pacifico you can start up to age 65 and renew for life.

Here are some rates per person with a s/.6000 deductible (deductibles range from 0 to 15,000.

60 S/.4727
62 S/.7515
65 S/.7957
67 S/.11,074
71 S/. 11,724
After 71 the rate appears to be capped!

Alpineprince, thanks for the info. It is one of my main concern. Are the rates quoted in soles or dollars? Are they also annual rates?

These rates are annual and are in Sol's (2.60 Sols to the dollar)
