There are 2 expat retired couples looking for accommodation for a month or so, March or April. If you have an apartment rental, or a 2 bedroom house in a nice area, let us know. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

You might also check vrbo.com or airbnb.com where people list vacation rentals.

Thank you so much for that information. I was wondering if there was something more local than that. Also, I am looking for expat groups, people who meet once a week or so, to talk about Peru and area. I am looking for good websites where I can learn a lot about Peru from the locals expats. Thanks. Both sites are actually local people who rent out their apartments or homes. I am looking myself for a place in February, so I know they have options in Lima. I have used both for stays in several countries, and have always been pleased. Payment is secure - you see photos of the rooms, profile of the owner, and often several reviews.

That's great information for us. There are 2 retired expat couples, coming to Peru for a few weeks, and we would love to have all the comforts of home in a rental. Machu Picchu is a destination, so staying close to there, would be ideal. Thanks again for your help.........If you find an expat group who gets together once a week in Peru, or has a website by someone local, that would be great too.

vrbo.com has several rentals in Cuzco. Agua Calientes is the city closes to Machu Picchu. Be aware that February/March is the rainy season, so staying nearby for a few days would give you the best chance of seeing some sun.
