Hi, I live in Costa Rica and I am trying to find a way to move with my animals, 3 dogs, 4 cats - those would be pretty straight forward - and 2 horses - that's where it gets more complicated. Anyone has any pertinent information on the subject of entering the country with animals.

wow! reading your post I am reminded of Noah! LoL!

As straight forward as it is for dogs and cats it is a complicated and it is quite a task to complete.
As for horses, I could find NOTHING that even mentioned what is necessary for entering Peru.
I think you will need to contact Peruvian Customs and either they know or can direct you to an agency that takes care of this.

Hey Pistachio, thank you for the reply. I guess I am an adventurous person. I moved from Québec (Canada), on the East Coast to a small Island in the Pacific, between Vancouver Island and the main land, with my 5 cats. Then I moved here to Costa Rica, with my 5 cats, This time I have a few more animals and different species, It should be interesting. Maybe I'll try to find a Peruvian Embassy, but in my experience in Costa Rica, even they weren't very helpful, they gave me conflicting information. I ended up finding out exactly what I needed to do in order to bring the cats when I talked to the big honcho at customs when I came to rent a house and prepare everything for the kitties. Where do you live in Peru? What's the climate in your part of the country?
