I want to visit Peru with my dog (75lbs).

I was wondering if you might suggest a few towns or areas (rural is ok), where me and my dog could be, for awhile, since...we go everywhere together, safely? I dont mind staying in a village for a few weeks, and then move elsewhere.
Thing is, I dont want to stand out with my dog, since we'd be a duo, basically.

Is it highly uncommon to see "dog-owners" walking about with their best friend?

Thank you.

Not sure if you know how things are here with pets in Peru.
First,, there are stray dogs everywhere. Skinny and underfed they roam around seaching for something to eat, Here they will eat bread and rice,,, so you know that normally they would refuse to eat such things but they are So Hungry they will eat almost anything.
Home pets are treated with care and there are many parks around in all the neighborhoods and you will see owners with their pets frequently.

No one is going to have an issue with you being with your dog all the time.. Even some restaurnants will allow you in with your pet. Often times with tables outside,, it is even easier.

The difficulty that I see in your adventure is where you will stay that will allow a per. More-so because your dog is quite large.. but if you look you will find....
