I want to live in the Trujillo area because its seems to be close to everything I need, Hospitals, restaurants , the beach ect....
I am having a hard time finding someone I can contact so I can reserve a place to live. I will be there in early March and plan to live there at least 3 months and i am hoping longer.

Any help will do about this town or towns around the area.??

Several cheap listings on Airbnb. Book a furnished place for the first two weeks and then walk around until you find a place you want to rent LT.

Make sure you get a "permission to sign contracts" when you first arrive to Lima, to avoid having to come back once you have found a place.

Yo,,, Slam...............

you haven't given me too much to go on but it sounds like you have to come and feel things out...

Trujillo is a great and upcoming city....... 2nd most populous in Peru but definitely the most economically energetic......... thriving and growing....
I live near Trujillo now but did live there for a few years.......

It is good,, you need to pick your spots and get to know the city.......

I live in a smaller little city nearby........ but get to Trujillo at least once a week...........

It seems to me you want to start in an inexpensive accomodation so look for hostels / hostals in Trip Advisor....... to get some pricing..........

I think best to consider it like many to be an extended travel and likely you will develop your plan after you have arrived..........

If you have some questions just ask........

ps,,,, upon entry ask for an extended visa,,, I think you can get 90 days if you ask........

maybe you will do some volunteer work would be a good reason to ask...

In that time you can explore your options............

You can also search on line for lodging on Trip Advisor.

There are lots of less expensive places if your making an extended stay.... and don't want to overpay for a fancier room..........

I think I would like to live closer to the ocean, is there somewhere you would suggest where I get the best of both worlds close to the city and the ocean.
