I was looking for something going through Chinatown in Binondo (I think Evangelista St) in Manila on a motorcycle. I wasn't going very fast maybe 10-20 kph. It happened very fast. I got hit on my left side (must have been a little more than 90 degrees because I didn't see it coming). I ended up on the ground with my bike. I look up an guess what hit me.... Looking down at me was a big horse. I was hit by a Kalesa (Horse and carriage). I was stunned, surprised and a little shaken up but not hurt. The bike had minor scratches. The Horse looked fine. It still makes me smile whenever I think about it. Life in the Philippines....

Yep,
From what i remember seeing all those horses had "blinders" on so they had peripheral vision and couldnt see much coming at them from the sides. Isnt it amazing that there arent more accidents considering all the different people, animals and vehicles trying to maneuver down those streets?
