Does anyone know if you can apply for an ACR Card at one of the Extension offices?
Thanks,
Kelly

You can get one at any full service office. But not at the part time satellite ones that only operate 1 day a week. At least that was the case the last time I got one, which was last Dec. I'm not sure why this is given that the people who crew the satellite offices come from the closest full service office and could take the forms back for processing just like they do extension requests.

Gentleman,
Wrong, Wrong!
I obtained my ACR card in Tagaytay earlier this year. They come from the main office in Batangas every Wednesday from about 10 am until 2 pm and take everything from your passport and other ID's and return the ACR within two weeks thereafter..

Morning all. I was in Tag bilayer yesterday getting a visa extension (3,003 pesos) seem to be hassle free except a bit of wait. I was listening to some guys there talking about this card. ACR I had no time to ask the lady at the counter as I was rushing back to UBay. What is it actually? Does it have any benefits? And I guess it comes at a price. Have a great day and waiting to here cheers keith

Thank you guys. I live in Tagaytay Bo, where is the office at? Do you need to here the 59 days to apply for it or can you apply anytime? The bank wanted the ACR before they would open a bank account.
Thanks again everyone

The bank is wrong to ask you for an acr card. By law all u need is 2 forms of idTell them that u know the law and they will give it to u. If not go to the nearest attorney.

Go to City Hall in Tagaytay. If they are still coming from Batangas on Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm they will tell you exactly what you need and when you need it.

Immigration in Tag is in the lobby of City hall on the ground floor. (used to be upstairs) They move it around so if you don't see it right away ask. It is only on Wednesdays and its best to be there before noon. When I got my ACR they weren't doing it in Tag and sent me to Santa Rosa. Apparently they started doing it later on.

Banks require 2 Philippine legal photo IDs. Usually that would be your passport + a PH driver's lic or ACR card.
