The Philippine President Is President Duterte kicking the American Special Forces out of the Philippines or is he just moving them out of Mendanou?

He just wants the US troops moved from Mindanao for their own safety not to leave the Philippines but to deploy elsewhere in the Philippines

For safety and because if Abu Sayef captured an American soldier they would almost certainly behead him. There would be no keeping the US Military out and it would quickly escalate out of DU30’s control. He is an old warrior and realizes only too well how to play “The Art of War”.

Yes your right as Most of Mindanao would become a US Base thousands of troops and hardware would be deployed to the island to wipe out the ASG once and for all and a permanent base would be there to make sure they could not come back

Thanks as it is very easy to follow the media rubbish which is a clear distortion of what He said as I have said before do not pay too much attention to the media but listen to what is actually being said.

Yep, he doesn't want any US troops to get beheaded, and he doesn't want any witnesses if he mounts an all out offensive.

Yes, the hostages are being released because they are being pounded with artillery and helicopters.

5 US bases have been approved and barracks are being quietly built about 20 minutes outside of Subic now.

Smooth move on Duterty's part. American's, including 5th Special Forces, do not have a good record when going up against guerilla fighters. Only useful for tactical details such as air support or intelligence. The Mindanao Moros are not known for standing in the street at high noon and drawing pistols at the count of 3.

I would think that drones and other hi tech surveillance that we could put in place would put an end to them. Not a peaceful end mind you. No boots on the ground either.

The US has had high technology surveillance in place in the Philippines for decades.

I don't know who said drones have been in use here. SR71 Blackbirds, satellites, and all sorts of computer, phone, etc. surveillance technology has been in widespread use here for decades per my friend who has four 25+ year CIA siblings.

So no drones ??? I HEAR you. Sounds rather SUSPISCIOUS !!! Who NIXED that deal..???
Someone who WANTS Abusayef to EXIST for some REASON or another. Fighting with a blindfold and your hands tied behind you back..
I have very little against MUSLIMS, but those guys, AS are only in it for the money. Let them get REAL jobs like the rest of the Filipinos, that is after the MURDERERS are put away for life.
DU30 are you real or ....

He has said good things regarding releasing the STRANGLEHOLD that the relatively few families enjoy over the entire Philippines. It is still early so I am holding out hope.
