We have the opportunity to move to the Philippines for work. The areas to choose from are Cebu City, Taguag City and Quezon. We have 3 children and will have about 4000 a month. Any thoughts? advice?

4000 what a month. How old are your children as good quality education can be very expensive and not widely available.

Before you even think of. Coming here to live you should visit here for at least a monrh and see if you even like it here. All the areas you have picked are very busy. If you have $4000 dollars a month that's fine, but a really good education for your 3 kids is going to be expensive and may limit you to living in or very near Manila. Any degrees your kids may get are not always recognised outside Philippines. Think very very hard before you commit your family to living in a very third world country. Your kids freedom will be extremely limited. There is no way you can let young white kids roam around on their own. There might be other guys on here that have brought their family over, on this site. Not heard of any yet.
Philippines is nothing like the west at all. You will have to have your wits about you here constantly it's not the paradise that some people seem to think it is. Would I bring a young family from UK to here to be honest, no I wouldn't. You should do a whole lot of research for each area that you choose then come here for at least a month.you may strike lucky, but this place is not for the naive and the feint hearted.
One question why do you want to move your family from a first world country to a third world country?

Taquig, not safe high crime rate although a 45% drop in crime this year. Crime at 65%
Cebu is safer crime at 47%
Crime in Quezon city 59.7% so not good.
Crime involves everything from verbal abuse to murder and drugs.
Drug abuse by the way is a massive problem here, Duterte has declared war on drugs dealers and users, and even he has admitted the problem is way bigger than he expected. Shabu is the most common drug which is a very cheap chrystal meths.
