Auto Scams

I am sure most of you are aware but just a heads up.

While searching for a vehicle on the web I have encountered two scams already and that is most likely the tip of the iceberg. All involve sellers being out of the country, cars being held by caretakers with delivery to your home after you have proved you have the funds via a MoneyGram receipt. Their quest is to not send the MoneyGram to them but to even your family member but as long as thee country is where they say they are residing. Problem is the do not need the transfer reference number to collect the funds.

I just spent an enjoyable two weeks scamming the scammer.

Be careful out there.

So today I started on another quest: 2005 Mitsubishi Adventure GS2 Super Sport. This person is in Lome, Togo but has left the caretaker with the car. These ads are listed for Sorsogon.

I finally had to call it quits with the first one. My ribs could take no more laughter. Talk about someone that is now incredibly mad for having been taken. Well at least time wise.

Must carry on...have a great day all!

Once a Nigerian lady was trying to hustle me, claiming she was hungry and couldn't feed her kids. On Skype it was clear to see should could do with some hunger and lose about 80 lbs.

I told her that I'm coming in a month with a million dollars and asked her to book a hotel suit for me and I promised to reimburse her.

She eventually figured it out and I could hear the swearing all the way from Lagos.

I've given out fake Western Union numbers and in a few hours I get really nasty messages in return.

@deejay1952 419... Thanks for the tip bro. There's this scam website I've been meaning to shut down. It has been scamming the elderly religious people in the US for donations. It's run solely by an expat here in the Philippines pretending to do missionary work in remote poverty stricken areas in P.I. But in reality the guy uses the donated funds for his daily sustenance; dining on TGIF, Shakeys, The Outback; buying expensive camera equipment; island hopping around the country; etc... He hates the poor, calls expats "sexpats", their Filipina wives "whores" or "gold diggers", & insults and slanders the expat community here in P.I. The guy even has an account in this forum and comments every now & then.

Peter vandever?
He is in the run in usa for various serious offences including child abuse he is now on the run in Philippines and has also been accused of child abuse last known in mindanaou, would like to know where he is now.
The man is not right in the head he tells everyone lies when actually he is living in bad conditions. As far as I know he can't leave Philippines legally because there are warrants for his arrest. As I have been told anyway

@draks LOL. BINGO!!! He's in Cebu right now, at some very cheap pension house. Before that, he was in Bacolod city at Ong Bun Pension House (another cheap cockroach infested pension house). That was until he skipped paying his bill and left for Cebu in the wee hours of the morning. The guy is a crook & a fugitive. His laterrains.com website still operates and scams a lot of religious people in the US.

@charkee The website (latterrains) has received numerous complaints as being a scam website, that's why your anti-virus or whatever web-protection apps you have is preventing you from accessing it. Anyway, nothing to glean on that website of PV except "cut & paste" bible qoutes, plus his plea of "sow me some seed" money. His petervandever.com is now under new management is now exposing this expat's stink: from sexual felony offence back in St. Joseph, Missouri to his fake missionary scams in Samoa & the Philippines.
