Be careful of those "Real Estate agents". There was a recent news here were a young Chinese national who bought a unit in the 13th floor of a condo from a real estate agent only to find out later (after paying a large amount of money) that the condo only has 12 floors.

The Condo I stayed at in Manila did not have a 13th floor, went from 12 to 14.

You are a foreigner, the agent will charge you a lot more than he would a Filipino. Personally i would not rush into buying here rent first then read the ass in old etc. For buying a condo. I think actually living in makati will drive you nuts after a while
