Hello All,

My wife and I are looking at the potential of moving to Poland. My work has asked if I would be interested in moving to Poland to work for a 3-5 year term. We are hoping some people also having done this can offer advice when weighing up the pros and cons of taking this leap. What is the culture like? How are the British viewed/accepted? What's the expat community like? Is being fluent needed or a good grasp of the basics enough? Any and every piece of advice would be gratefully received! Thanks you!,

We came back home last Christmas after spending three years in Poland for my husbands job. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the locals incredibly friendly despite us not knowing Polish, we did pick up a few words but could not hold a conversation but we always got by. If you like travel Poland is the place to be as it is so cheap, we explored quite a few different countries and of course much of Poland which is a beautiful country.

I was very hesitant about the move but am so glad I decided to give it a try,
