Hi guys! Moving to Gdansk this Friday, can't find a long-term rent because almost no one speaks English. I'm desperate.

I've tried olx, dom.gratka, otodom.

Which sites can you advise?

You may have to opt for using an agent to help you as not all landlords will be able speak English. Try to look up local real estate agents as many will likely speak English. They can also help you with negotiations and drafting a lease. The downside is that they will ask for commission once the lease is signed. Typically 1 month. Search for posrednik nieruchomo?ci and you will get a list of local agents.

Hope that helps a bit.

How are you adjusting to Gdansk? My family of 4 is considering a relocation. Any info would be appreciated. We will be visiting this July, 2018.

This is a good guide to finding a rental in Warsaw. They are in huge demand, all of the time, and prices rise to reflect that, all the time! I think it is possible to simplify and make the process of finding a flat as an in expat in Warsaw much easier. There are lots of new options in Warsawwith co-living, https://www.vondereurope.com/.They bring together private flats (studios to three beds) and some great community facilities as well (coworking offices, gyms, clubhouses, rooftops) and community events- think workshops, work out classes. Their properties are all fully furnished, and more importantly nicely furnished, their kitchens are even fully stocked with amenities. Move in ready. They have flexible rental periods, from a few months to a few years, and they have housing in so a great part of Warsaw. It makes finding somewhere to live so easy.
