I see a note posted by someone in almost the same circumstances as our seleves, living in OZ, uk passports thinking of retiring in portugal and need heaps and heaps of information on anything you can think ofthat would helpus before we come over to look round in late march, please

we too live in Oz and feel ready for another adventure. Portugal looks wonderful ... and much closer to our UK rellies. We are retirees, limited funds, prefer to rent than buy. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I am at the moment in UK but I will be going back to Portugal at the end of May this year. I would like to help if you need any info of the country. its beautifull cheaper than rest of Europe lots of sunshine and lazy days calm life. Dont forget about the Siesta. Hope to hear from you soon

if your shipping your furniture when moving to Portugal DON'T move anything until you've spoken to a removal company first. You need to secure documentation (required to import your effects) at origin
