Minimum wage is around 400 euros. Average wage maybe between 700 to 1000 euros. To live it depends on how you want to live, in a city, or the country or the beach. In cities it's a little more expensive. I do not live in Portugal but have family and was born and raised there. And on another forum, i was told that one can live relatively confortably with 700 to 900 euros. But i am not sure. You can go to remax.pt and find out the prices of homes in the various locations. sapo.pt also has information but you need to know portuguese or find the english version of sapo.pt. This should give you an idea of what rent goes for.
