Need advice moving to Portugal

I'm an EU national (British) planning a move to Lisbon from New Zealand to work as a self-employed Software Developer. I already have a contract secured with a company based in New Zealand.

I roughly know the steps that I need to follow to start working legally in Portugal;

- Apply for Social Security and a Tax Number.
- Buy a Green Receipts book (Caderneta de Recibos Verdes) to record my earnings for use in my tax returns.
- Apply for a residence permit so that I can stay and work for longer than 6 months.

My question is - what other documentation apart from my British passport do I need to bring to start working in Portugal?

Thanks very much to anyone that took the time to read this and can provide some help :)

Sorry if theres a post already relating to this, I had a look but couldn't find anything.

Kind regards,
Nick Hines

I'm sure your employer will be able to inform you of any other requirements. Please do not rely on a public forum such as this for important information.
